Defending the Mall is a Henry Stickmin fangame by Steve "THEPARAKEET101" Chrome. It was developed in Scratch and was released in both vector and bitmap mode. releasing on Game Jolt the same day. It released November 8th, 2025. In an alternate timeline where Henry decides he doesn't want to Break the Bank, Henry becomes a Night Guard for the West Orange Pavilion Mall. On the night of Black Friday, infamous criminal Carl `"Nutcracker" Ghrimes breaks into the Mall, it's up to you to decide what Henry does.

Henry Stickmin wants to break a bank after seeing an ad for it on TV, and wants to rob it, but decides he doesn't want to. He sees an advertisement for a mall cop position at the West Orange Pavilion Mall and decides to pursue an honest job instead, choosing to be a good person instead of going down a path of evil. So Henry secures the night guard job. The main conflict of the story occurs on Black Friday when a notorious criminal known as Carl Ghrimes (also named Carl Brimes) breaks into the mall. The story puts the reader/player in the position of deciding Henry's actions and choices as he attempts to stop Carl and defend the mall. The story is a text-based adventure, in the style of the original Henry Stickmin games, focusing on the various choices and potential outcomes (fails and endings) resulting from Henry's decision to go straight.
