Flash game classics

Adobe ended the Flash Player in 2020, and with it went the plugin that ran a generation of browser games. Many survived: studios rebuilt them in HTML5, portals added the Ruffle emulator, and archives such as Flashpoint preserved tens of thousands more.

This list covers the Flash games in our catalogue, best known first. Where a game still runs in a browser we offer Play; where it only survives in an archive we say so rather than show you a broken frame.

FAQ

Questions and answers

Can you still play Flash games in 2026?
Yes, in three ways: HTML5 remakes by the original studios, sites that run the original files through the Ruffle emulator, and the Flashpoint Archive, a free desktop launcher that preserves over 100,000 Flash games.
What replaced Flash for browser games?
HTML5, JavaScript and WebGL. Engines such as Unity, Godot and Construct export games that run in any modern browser with no plugin.
Why does a Flash game here not load?
Some games point at their original Flash file, which browsers can no longer run. Use “Not working?” on the game’s page and we will move it to an archived or emulated copy where one exists.
