Your team must beat the training on the Terranova experimental hovering train: this will prepare you to be the most reliable couple, the Field Agent (a.k.a Agent), and the Operations Center (a.k.a. Operator).

Co-op communication
Each mission will test the team's balance: will you be able to communicate efficiently?
As the Agent, you can operate on the train in person to handle devices and solve puzzles.
As the Operator, through the Terranova Operating Central System that can be used by smartphone or PC, you can interact with the Agent and the devices on the train.

The project was built as an "exquisite corpse" - every room was constructed separately, and while variables were shared between participants to allow cross-room gameplay, the final layout of the maze was randomised.

TOBAFCASS (Thief of Bagdad - A Flying Carpet Arabian Side Shooter) is a side shooter with unique visual style and characteristic electronic music. For both the story and visual style I took inspiration from "The thief of Bagdad" a 1924 classic silent adventure movie with Douglas Fairbanks. Game mechanics are of classic ultra-hard side shooter. In particular I was inspired by "Agony" a beautiful yet unforgiving Amiga game from the 90s.

Finally most of the enemies come from "Kunstformen der natur" a book by Ernst Hackel full of litoghraphic illustrations of bizzare creatures perfectly organized with Prussian precision and devotion to symmetry.

The Snowfield is an experimental project in emergent narrative set during World War I. It was made by a team of 10 student interns from Singapore and the U.S. in 2011 as part of the eight-week GAMBIT summer development program at MIT.

The Snowfield represents an attempt to make a simulation-based narrative game according to a special method for developing such games, a method designed to avoid the need for complex A.I. or massive content generation. The idea was not to relying on codified narrative theories or formulas - like three-act structures, etc. - but rather assume "what makes a good story" cannot be systematized and instead must be arrived at organically via extensive user testing.
