About Factions of Fate

Factions of Fate is a hidden-identity board game for 5 to 12 players, played online on a 3D table in the browser. Each player is dealt a secret character card from one of three factions. Renegades win when every Sentinel is dead, Sentinels win when every Renegade is dead, and each Unbound character chases a goal of their own. Nobody knows whose side anyone is on until they reveal themselves, which unleashes their character's ability but tells the whole table where they stand. Each turn the Fates send you to one of ten locations, each with its own action, from drawing equipment and event cards to stealing gear, healing a friend, cursing a stranger or praying to the dead. You can then attack anyone in range, rolling a D6 against a D4, and every attack, card and ability can be answered during a response window. Intuition cards are read in secret and handed to another player, whose reaction can give them away. The table enforces every rule, bots can fill empty seats, and players earn levels, character mastery and achievements across a roster of more than 60 characters.

The Fates have gathered a company of strangers, and every one of them is hiding who they really are. The Renegades want the Sentinels in the ground, and they will smile at you until then. The Sentinels hold the line against the Renegades, if they can work out who those are. The Unbound are loyal to no one: each walks a road of their own, and any one of them can end it all. Nobody knows whose side you're on, and the Fates decide where you walk next.
