Unauthorized is a terminal-simulator game that involves uncovering hidden files, cracking passwords, and piecing together an intriguing narrative. The game challenges players to decipher encrypted data and unravel a conspiracy. Created by Red Indie Games (and POWERHACK), Unauthorized is a love letter to retro computing, cryptography and encryption puzzles.

It's the middle of the Cold War. A stranger gives you a magnetic tape, a note, and a number. They tell you to use your terminal to access a remote mainframe over dial-up and put together the conspiracies found on it.
